In Columbus for States

We left to travel down to The Ohio State University at approx. 2:30. We stopped by the hotel, checked in and then went over to Jesse Owens Track at OSU. The boys worked on baton exchanges and we had a nice picnic dinner at the track, made by Coach Mann's wife Donna. I brought some of the boys back to the hotel. The other coaches and a few of the boys went to go watch St Ed's baseball team play in the state semi-finals against Lakota West.

St Ed's, the school where Derek attends and I coach, has had quite a year in sports. They won Ohio state titles in Wrestling and Hockey. They were state runner-ups in Basketball. The baseball team and lacrosse teams are in the final fours. And most important, to me at least, is that the Track Team is sending the most competitors to the state meet in school history.
